NCECA 2011

I got to go to NCECA this year with some people from school. It was held in Tampa, Fl. I really can't believe how inspired I am just by seeing all of the work that is going on out there. Clay people are such an amazing group. After a long sleep to recover from a long roadtrip I can hear the studio calling my name. There are so many ideas in this head of mine! Can't wait to produce the work this trip has inspired in me...before I do, here are some pictures from the trip

Getting this thing started, ha

So, I couldn't put off starting this blog any longer. I don't know why but it somehow got lost in all of the other stuff I have had to do this semester. Speaking of this semester, I just finished having my second critique. This one was especially hard because I could not come up with an idea at all. Luckily, right before due date (imagine that, haha), it came to me. I have been trying to think of how to add other aspects to my work and although this thought isn't completely formed I gave it a try in this sculpture:
